Alisha Connect Privacy Policy
Alisha Connect (connect.alishasbonding.com) is the client and office portal for Alisha’s Bonding (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect through Alisha Connect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (name, email, profile picture). If you use email and password login, we store a securely hashed password, never the password itself.
- Case information: details about your bond and court case, including court name, case number, court dates, and payment and promissory note information.
- Identity documents: photos or scans of government-issued ID that you upload.
- Social Security number: if you provide it, it is stored encrypted and is visible only to authorized Alisha's Bonding staff.
- Forms and documents: forms you download, complete, and upload, such as “Bonding Instructions and Regulations” and “Payment: Addendum to Promissory Note”.
- Usage information: basic logs such as sign-in times and pages visited, used for security and troubleshooting.
Google user data
Alisha Connect uses Google sign-in to verify your identity. For staff of Alisha’s Bonding only, Alisha Connect may also read court docket emails in the business’s own Gmail account, with that account owner’s consent, to match court dates to existing cases by court and case number. We do not read the Gmail of clients or any other users.
Alisha Connect’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide and improve the features described here, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not shared with third parties except as needed to run the service or as required by law. Humans do not read this data except with consent, for security purposes, or as required by law.
How we use information
- To manage your bond, case, court dates, and payments.
- To verify your identity and keep your account secure.
- To let staff review your documents and contact you about your case.
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that host and operate Alisha Connect, with courts or authorities when legally required, or with your consent.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and sensitive fields such as Social Security numbers are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to authorized staff.
Retention
We keep case records for as long as needed for the bond and as required by law, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by contacting us — the office details are beside this page. You can revoke Alisha Connect’s Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
